Woven newspaper bag

Based on a post I saw on a crafting forum, I decided to try making a woven newspaper tote bag. It looked relatively easy, and it actually was. I am pretty proud of my purse. All it took was a few newspapers, a roll of clear packing tape, and most of my lunch hour for just over 2 weeks (a little under 10 hours total I would guess). Definitely worth doing. I am already trying to decide how to improve it. Maybe get the weave a little tighter. Make the straps one continuous band to add strength. Maybe try using solid colour construction paper, or cool patterned wallpaper. So many options...

Next time I will take pictures as I do it, so I can write up how-to instructions.
